DUNCAN — A storm spotter training class will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Red River Technology Center, 3300 W. Bois d’Arc Ave. and there is no fee or pre-registration required.
The class will last about an 1 1/2 and offers great information for the first time attender and the seasoned spotter. “The ice storm has shown us what nature can do to our community and this class will better prepare us for the monitoring the upcoming spring storm season,” Stephens County Emergency Management Director Jimmy Pryor said. The original class was cancelled because of the ice storm.
