DUNCAN —
The Board of Stephens County Commissioners will consider going into executive session Monday to discuss the contract with Visual Lease Services on the 911 mapping system.
Visual Lease was contracted by the county to update addresses and maps used by the county but they allegedly produced a map that was not up to the county’s standards. Spatial Data Research was then hired. In addition to not meeting the required standards, Visual Lease began the process of visual mapping in June 2011 and did not complete the project within the expected time.
Stephens County District Attorney Jason Hicks and the commissioners will discuss the issue in executive session as not to hinder the investigation.
