Activities fill September's final week

Several events are set to happen in the final week of this month.

On Saturday, the third annual Poker Run/Lions for Sight happens. For information, call Debi Tate at 580-252-9007.

Monday, United Way of Stephens County will host its Celebrity Servers dinner. Call Lauren Siess at 580-255-3648.

The Southwest Oklahoma Senior Games is Thursday, Sept. 27.  Call Pat Bowles at 580-252-2900, Ext. 232.

Duncan Art Guild hosts an artist workshop with Thomas Stotts, Thursday, Sept. 27 to Saturday, Sept. 29. For information, call Jolene Loyd-Forbes at 580-470-5031.

Friday, Sept. 28, the Stephens County Humane Society is holding a first time Spay-ghetti lunch and dinner benefit.

Duncan Crafts, Arts and Hobbies Show returns to Stephens County Fair & Expo Center Friday, Sept. 28 and Saturday, Sept. 29 for its fall show. Call Susan Gooden at 580-656-7310.

The Duncan Little Theatre kicks off its 2012-13 season with the popular Evening of Shorts, also set for Sept. 28-29.

Also on those two days, the annual Bluegrass Festival returns to Duncan’s Grove. Call 580-606-9133.
