DUNCAN —
A Duncan teenager was injured when two Seadoo personal water crafts collided Sunday morning at Lake Texoma in Marshal County.
Baylee Green, 14, of Duncan, was traveling alongside another Seadoo when the personal water craft she was driving cut power and made a left turn into the path of the second Seadoo, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report filed.
The collision took place .5 miles southwest of the Roosevelt Bridge on the lake.
Green and Antonio Matrinez, 19, of Geronimo, were ejected an unknown distance after the collision of the two personal water crafts.
Both were transported by air ambulance to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City were Green was treated for internal trunk and leg injuries and Matrinez treated for leg injuries also.
They are both in stable condition.
The OHP report filed by the Marine Enforcement Division declared the cause of the collision to be from “careless operation.”
Everyone involved in the collision were wearing personal flotation devices.
The driver and passenger of the second Seadoo, Andrew Paris, 35, of Lawton, and David Olivio, 22, Lawton, were not injured in the collision.
Trooper Greg Williams investigated the collision and was assisted by Trooper Danny Chaffin.
