Readers' Choice poll returns

DUNCAN — The search for Duncan’s most popular people and best places began Monday with the start of The Duncan Banner’s popular Readers’ Choice poll.

For more than 20 years, The Banner has enabled its readers to choose their community favorites in more than 150 categories grouped as businesses, food, people and public places.

Official ballots were included in Monday and Tuesday’s edition of The Banner. Ballots will also be included in the Friday, Oct. 5 edition of The Banner. To be considered, each ballot must include a minimum of 40 choices. All entries must be submitted to The Banner (1001 Elm, Duncan, Okla. 73533 or P.O. Box 1268, Duncan, Okla. 73534) by 5 p.m. Friday. Oct. 12.

Results will be tabulated by an anonymous committee of non-Banner staff members and winners will be featured in a special edition of The Banner in late October.

Readers’ Choice has become one of The Banner’s most popular and highly read sections  And recognition as a Readers’ Choice winner has gained distinction as a significant community prize.
