Bean dinner, acrobats and Crapemyrtle photo reception offer things to do today in Duncan

DUNCAN — The calendar is filled with many events for today in Duncan. Following is a list of those events and contact information.

Heritage Oaks Church of the Nazarene Bean Dinner will be having a Benefit Bean Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Proceeds will go to the Backpack Ministries which helps to distribute food to kids in need. Located at 4501 W. Beech in Duncan. For information, call Jeanna Tate at 580-255-2869.

Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobats will perform today at the Simmons Center. For information, call Stephanie Sullivan at 580-252-2900 ext 240.

The Crapemyrtle Photo Contest reception for photographers is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Duncan Public Library. A People’s Choice winner will be announced and the event is open to the public.
