Myers-Arrington

DUNCAN — Lindy Jarae Myers and Brandon Dale Arrington, both of Duncan, exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m., March 13, 2010, at First Baptist Meridian in Comanche, officiated by  Rusty Canoy.

Parents of the bride are Mark and Michelle Myers of Duncan. Grandparents are Ray and Janell Edmondson of Duncan, Zane Myers of Duncan, and the late Sue Burnett.

Parents of the groom are Stephen and Janis Arrington of Duncan. Grandparents are Truett and JoAnn Arrington of Duncan, Dale Whipple of Duncan and the late Bonnie Whipple.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a Galina organza tea-length gown with metallic embroidery, accented with satin tie around the waist. She wore a pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings that were a gift from the groom. Her one tier veil was elbow length and adorned with pearl and crystal edged design. She carried a bouquet of lilies, roses and irises in colors of orange, yellow, red, blue, purple and white. Accents of berries, crystal beads and greenery completed the bouquet.

Baylee Fulford, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. She wore a short one-sleeved purple sateen dress and carried a bouquet of purple, red, yellow and orange flowers accented with greenery.

Bridal bouquet attendants were Arlene Lassiter of Moore, Jonna Walden of Denton, Texas, Janet Hanza of Lawton, Melissa Coast of Geronimo, Ashley Burgamy of New Orleans, La., Justin Riddles, Jarrod Blackburn and Aaron Simpson, all of Duncan, Jonathan Zinn of Salt Lake City, Utah, Shea Howton, brother-in-law of groom, of Norman.

Braylin Arrington, brother of the groom, of Duncan, was the best man.

Ushers were Aubrey Edmondson, cousin of the bride, Tristan Fulford, brother of the bride, and Ryan Arrington, nephew of the groom, all of Duncan.

The church decorations were greenery and candles accented with purple, blue, yellow and orange flowers.

Reception was held at Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Meridian. Guest book attendant was Jordon Hurst, cousin of the bride, of Duncan. Assistants for the reception were Lori Hushbeck, and Delisa Reddin, both of Duncan, Jana Hamm and Georgia Robinson, both of Comanche, Mindy Howton, sister of the groom, of Norman, and Kristen Arrington, sister-in-law of the groom, of Duncan.

The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 12, at Bob’s Restaurant in Meridian.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Broken Bow area. They reside west of Comanche.
