Pendley & Baker

DUNCAN — Jenna Marie Pendley and Matthew Adam Baker, both of Duncan, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church in Duncan.

Jenna is the daughter of Jackie and Kim Pendley of Duncan. She is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Barbara Roberson of Duncan; the late Bennie Pendley of Duncan; Jo Pendley of Chickasha and Charles Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Matthew is the son of Warren and Jennifer Baker of Duncan and the late Pamela Baker of Duncan. He is the grandson of Art and Nadine Culp of Marlow; Richard and Carrie Adams of Duncan, and Lloyd and JoAnn Baker, of Norman.

Jerry Bradley, pastor of City Heights Baptist Church, officiated the ceremony. Kathy Ballard, pianist, was the musician.

The bridal path was accented with white pew bows, potted plants with aqua calla lilies flanked the steps on a white gazebo adorned with white twinkly lights, white tulle, greenery, white stargazer lilies and aqua calla lilies. Garden candelabras with greenery and aqua ribbon stood on each side of the gazebo. A white unity candle with greenery and aqua ribbon completed the setting.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white strapless organza, a-line gown with a corset bodice adorned with beaded metallic lace on the bodice, skirt and chapel-length train. The elbow length veil was accented with seed pearls and crystals. The bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, aqua star gazer lilies, greenery, tied with aqua ribbons.

The bride’s maid of honor was Kelby Roberson of Lindsay. She wore a long, flowing, chiffon and charmeuse aqua dress with rounded satin neckline and a wide satin aqua sash. She carried three small white calla lilies tied with aqua ribbon.

Emaleigh Parks of Duncan was the flower girl. Sawyer Rice of Duncan was the ring bearer.

Justin Parks of Duncan, was the best man. Darren Roberson of Lindsay, and Winston Rice of Duncan were the ushers.

The reception was held at the Vine & Fig Tree. Kayla and Sue Willet, both of Duncan, were the guest book attendants. Lindee Edwards and Stephanie Teeple, both of Lawton, were the reception assistants. A rehearsal dinner was held in the fellowship hall of Calvary Baptist Church immediately following rehearsal and was hosted by the bride’s parents. The couple went to Oklahoma City for their wedding trip. They will establish a residence in Duncan.

A wedding shower was held Feb. 6, at Calvary Baptist Church. A personal shower, hosted by Holly Rice and DeDe Parks, was held at the bride’s home Feb. 20.
