DUNCAN — Sandra Jo Norton and Paul Daniel Carter, both of Fox, exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Five B Ranch in Velma. Carl Taylor officiated.

Bride’s parents are David and Janice Norton of Velma and the late JoRene Norton. Her grandparents are Donald and Linda Jacobs of Calliham, Texas and Obie and the late Barbara Norton both of Velma.

Groom’s parents are Paul Carter of Anna, Texas, and the late Margaret Carter of Healdton. His grandparents are Ann Long of Jackson, Mo., Bobby Long of Mammoth Springs, Ark., and Judy Ehlers of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Recorded music was used for the ceremony. At the reception, a band consisting of Keith Norton, Randy Norton and the groom, played.

Church decorations included a pergola built by the bride’s father. Asparagus ferns were hanging from shepherds hooks on the aisle and ferns were placed around the pergola.

Sandra was escorted by her father.

She wore a Casablanca ivory headed and embroidered silky satin gown with a pleated sweatheart neckline and empire waist. The head work and embroidery design was accented with crystal and rhinstone three-dimensional flowers. Her veil was a finger length ivory borrowed from the bride’s cousin. Flowers were mini yellow calla lilies with blue accents hand wrapped with ivory ribbon.

Bridesmaids were Bobbi Jo Carter of Anna, Texas, Ashley Coats of Arlington, Va., Lynsie Watkins of Fox, Blair Williams of Edmond and Loren Williams of Guam.

Attendants wore malibu blue long chiffon halter dresses.

The waist was gatherd in a side cascade. They carried bouquets of mini calla lilies hand wrapped with malibu blue ribbon.

Groomsmen were Coy Bower of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jacob Chavez of Midland, Texas, Aaron Glenn of Anna, Texas, Joe Jennings of Roanoke, Va. and Seth Robert of The Woodlands, Texas.

Flower girl was Caitlin McKee of Durant. Ring bearer was Blake Norton of Velma.

Reception was at the Five B Ranch in Velma and reception assistants were Taylor Hamilton and Kath Eply, both of Healton, Tana Morse of Fox and Elizabeth Sam of Pauls Valley.

Rehearsal dinner was at the residence of Keith and Carrie Norton on June 1.

Bridal Showers were hosted by Carrie Norton, Bobbi Jo Carter and Lynsie Watkins.

Destination of the wedding trip was an Alaskan cruise.

Residence after the trip is Fox.
