DUNCAN — Shayna Fern Spivey and Jerry Lee James Dresser, both of Duncan, exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10, 2011, in an outside ceremony at the home of the bride’s grandparents in Duncan. Rev. Kim Curley officiated.

Bride’s parents are Tim and Adenya Spivey of Duncan. Her grandparents are J.W. and the late Betty Hines of Duncan, and Gloria and the late Jerald Spivey of Marlow.

Groom’s parents are Robbin and Suzie Dresser of Duncan. His grandparents are Bill and the late Dora Ann Pittman of Duncan and the late Bill and Delores Dresser of Sulfer.

Music was provided by Dawn Schabraum.

Decorations included the trees of the property being wrapped in white lights and tulle, with candles hanging from the branches.

Shayna was escorted by her father, Tim Spivey.

She wore a diamond white strapless Chantelle ball gown with a lace, sweetheart beaded bodice and sweep train. In her hair, she wore a simple sterling silver flower hair barrette and sterling silver head band. She carried a bouquet of orange lilies, lavender, purple carnations, green athas, yellow daisies and heather.

Maid of honor was Ashley Wright of Augusta, Ga.

Bridesmaids were MaKayla Scroggins of Oklahoma City, Jessica Dore of Duncan, Chelsey Hurlocker of Duncan and Kaelyn Jung of Marlow.

Attendants wore Evie dresses of black cotton taffeta.

They carried bouquets of gerber daisies color coordinating with the bride’s bouquet.

Best man was Ethan Leonhart of Duncan.

Groomsmen were Bob Dresser, Charles Dore, Clint Careathers and Kirby Foster, all of Duncan.

Flower girls were Faith, Gracie and Addyson Dresser, all of Duncan.

Ring bearer was Zack Koning of Duncan.

Reception was at the home of the bride’s grandparents. There was a dinner, outdoor music and dancing on the patio.

Reception attendants were Rylie Koning and Shayla McDonnell, both of Duncan and cousins of the bride.

Guest book attendant was Marqueta Hines, the bride’s aunt, of Duncan.

Rehearsal dinner was held at Buffet King Sept. 9, 2011, hosted by the groom’s parents.

Residence after the wedding trip is Duncan.
