Geneva Kay Luster of Whitewright, Texas, and Scott Michael Cordell of Plano, Texas, were wed Saturday, May 30. 2009, at The Heard Museum in McKinney, Texas, with Rodney Standford officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Curtis and Pam Luster of Whitewright, and Cindy Smith of Sherman, Texas.
Her grandparents are Dollie Luster of Whitewright and the late William Luster; Patsy Croley of Whitewright and the late Willard Croley; Geneva Cooper of Sherman; and Lloyd and Sybil Clark of Durant.
The groom is the son of Gayle Cordell of Plano, and Mike and Charlotte Cordell of Denton, Texas.
His grandparents are J.E. Cordell of Duncan and the late Dorothy Cordell, and the late George and Marlene Spencer, who lived in Bartlesville.
Matron of honor was Mandee Wilkinson, best friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Baro, the bride’s sister-in-law, and Jennifer Bassham.
Best man was Richard Baro, the groom’s brother-in-law.
Groomsmen were Steven Cowan and Stephen Angelone.
The reception and the rehearsal dinner were held at The Heard Museum.
Following a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple established a home in Allen, Texas. The bride is a graduate of Whitewright High School and the University of North Texas in Denton, majoring in accounting. The groom is a graduate of Plano Senior High School and the University of North Texas, majoring in finance.
