Gossett —Stockton

DUNCAN — Laura Leigh Gossett of Duncan and Trent Stephen Stockton of Edmond exchanged wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 2010, on Palmetto Dunes Beach in Hilton Head Island, S.C. Clark Mitchell of Norman officiated.

The bride’s parents are Bill and Sherry Gossett of Duncan.

Her grandparents are Charles and Glennes Jenkins of Duncan, and the late Charles and Cates Gossett of Oklahoma City.

The groom’s parents are Cliff and Diane Stockton of Edmond. His grandparents are Harvey and Doreen Johnson of Edmond, Louise Peters of Edmond and the late Harold Dean Stockton.

Musicians were Kyle Gossett, brother of the bride, and the Hilton Head String Quartet.

Beach decorations included a floral arch of stargazers and lilies of orange, fuschia and white.

Ms. Gossett was escorted by her father, Bill Gossett.

Her dress was a Ramon Keveza mermaid gown in ivory satin, with a strapless design and sweetheart neckline. The veil was a cathedral style toille. She carried a bouquet of white and fuschia orchids.

Maid of honor was Tiffany Stockton of Norman. Matron of honor was Mrs. Holly Corbin of Oklahoma City.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kristen Rayos of Edmond, Mrs. Kirsten Baer of Virginia, Ms. Lindsey Clark of Norman, Ms. Kristin Clark of Norman, Mrs. Carolyn Cook of Edmond.

Attendants wore strapless empire, shortlength style dresses. Fabric was a gold and white overlay of voile and satin. They carried fuschia orchids.

Flower girl was Miss Allie Gossett of Oklahoma City.

Ring bearer was Cole Gossett of Oklahoma City.

Best man was Chris Gibson of Norman.

Groomsmen were John Mark Cook of Edmond, Corey Rhodes of Augusta, Ga., Mr. Drew Laurence of Oklahoma City, Caleb McNear of Santa Monica, Calif., and Mr. Mathew Givens of New York City, N.Y.

Scripture readers were Mrs. Amanda Bardwell of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Julie Cornelius of Frisco, Texas.

Reception was held at Dunes House at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head Island.

Rehearsal dinner was a sunset dinner cruise on the “Spirit of Harbor Town,” hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Stockton (groom’s parents).

Destination of the wedding trip was Disney World and a Caribbean cruise.

Mr. and Mrs. Stockton have chosen to make their home in Edmond.
