Teams deal with weather cancellations

DUNCAN — Wintery conditions near Oklahoma City forced cancellations of three basketball games – two boys and one girls – Thursday night.

The Marlow Outlaws (14-9), Lady Outlaws (14-8) and the Duncan Lady Demons (4-17) all had their contests pushed back to Friday.

“It’s a little disappointing for us because we were revved up to play tonight,” Outlaws coach John Garret said. “I think being at home helps, but it’s going to be the biggest test of the season for us.”

The Lady Demons will travel to play Piedmont at 8 p.m. while the Lady Outlaws and Outlaws will host Millwood at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively.
