DUNCAN —
The Duncan Demons were eight minutes away from brining an end to their losing streak.
Instead, they ran into a wall and the skid hit the 12-game mark.
The Demons were up eight points heading into the fourth quarter Saturday night, but managed just five points in the final period as Madill rallied to a 59-50 victory.
Duncan (5-15) trailed 16-13 after the first quarter but pushed ahead 28-26 by halftime and extended the magin to 45-37 by the end of the third quarter before being outscored 19-5 in the fourth quarter.
Senior Cade Baldwin and juniors Isiah Ervin and DeAndre Vermaire each had 12 points to pace Duncan. Sophomore Nathan Clark added six points and six rebounds, senior Carter David and sophomore Ben Peterson had three points apiece and senior Jack Braught added two points.
GIRLS
The Duncan Lady Demons fell on the road to Madill, dropping to 4-16 on the season.

36th Annual Blowout starts Friday morning
Duncan’s largest golf tournament of the year will tee off Friday when the 36th Annual Blowout Tournament begins at the Duncan Golf and Tennis Club.
The tournament will include a field of 256 golfers, making up 128 teams. -
