DUNCAN —
The Marlow Lady Outlaws took the last spot in the second round of the Stephens County Tournament as they cruised in Monday’s nightcap, topping Bray-Doyle, 56-39.
Marlow advances to play Ryan on Thursday in the semifinals, while Bray-Doyle will take on Empire in the first round of the consolation bracket.
Senior Ashley O’Dell led Marlow with 20 points, while senior Avery Walkers and sophomore Tory Nations each added eight. Senior Anne Davenport tallied six points, sophomores Diamond Morris and Shayna Throckmorton had five points apiece, and junir Anne Wortham and senior Emalee Williams each had two.
Junior Ashlee Kelly had 15 points, while senior Erica Hatfield and sophomore Taylor Nichols each had seven points. Senior Morgan Kovar had four poitns, junior Madison Kelly and freshman Alma Alvarez each had two.

Throwing his way to the top
His father Craig starred in track at Oklahoma State after a decorated high school career. His younger brother Connor was named an AAU All-American, won the AAU Club National/ESPN Rise Games in the discus throw and competed in the AAU Junior Olympics last summer.

36th Annual Blowout starts Friday morning
Duncan’s largest golf tournament of the year will tee off Friday when the 36th Annual Blowout Tournament begins at the Duncan Golf and Tennis Club.
The tournament will include a field of 256 golfers, making up 128 teams. -
