COMANCHE —
Jeramy Wayne Roebuck appeared in district court before Judge Joe Enos Friday with a bond set at $1 million dollars for Roebuck’s alleged involvement in the home invasion that happened in rural Comanche, Tuesday, Jan. 29.
The victims include a man and woman. The man was shot twice and the female was tied up during the home invasion. the man was shot in the side and in the leg. As of Friday, the man was in stable condition at OU Medical Center.
The Stephens County District Court filed charges against Roebuck for assault and battery with a deadly weapon. He was arrested by Sheriff Bobby Bowen Friday.
According to court records, supplemental information was introduced against Roebuck, for “after former conviction of a felony.”
A summary of facts hearing is set for 2 p.m. March 1, and a preliminary hearing conference is set for 9 a.m. March 27. The investigation is still ongoing, however, as it is believed that two suspects were involved with the incident.
The Sheriff’s Department orginally had two suspects in custody but the second suspect was released with all charges dismissed without prejudice.
