Harry James Benson
Harry James Benson was born March 28, 1941, in Durant, and passed away 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013.He graduated in 1959, from Okmulgee High School, where he was active in athletics and band. Harry continued his education at Oklahoma University on a ROTC Naval Scholarship, where he was a member of the Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity. He received his bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1964. Harry reported to basic training at the San Diego Naval Base in California, then deployed to Vietnam in 1964. -

Patsy Teague, 78, of Duncan, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Duncan Regional Hospital.Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Church of Christ in Marlow, with Ed Hull officiating. Internment will be at the Marlow Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home. -

On June 3, 2013, Rusty Lynn Kennedy, 49 years old of Duncan departed this life to be immediately present with his Lord in Heaven.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at The Christian Center, with Pastor James Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. -
