DUNCAN —
Ronald Frederick Abersoll, 69, of Duncan, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at his home in Duncan.
A private family celebration will be held in lieu of a service.
He will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
Ronald was born June 28, 1943, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Russell F. and Frances A. Abersoll.
He attended school in Aberdeen. He attended Northern State College and received a Bachelor of Science in Business.
He was employed in the United States Air Force, Army National Guard, United States Air Force Reserve. He was also employed with the United States Postal Service.
He retired as first sergeant with 31 years of service, 21 at the United States Postal Service. He worked at 3M in Aberdeen.
Ronald was a member of the American Legion, was part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Color Guard and attended First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen.
He is survived by his wife, Gill E. Abersoll, who he married April 30, 1966, in Bottesford, England.
Together they had three daughters: Tammy, born at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Fla.; Stephanie, born at Edwards Air Force Base in Edwards, Calif., and Kristie Jane, born in Leicester, United Kingdom.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Kristie Jane Abersoll, in July 1972.
He is survived by his daughters: Tammy Bugher and her husband, Brandon Bugher of Norman and Stephanie Nite of Duncan; brothers: Russell and Ivy Abersoll in Minnesota, and Patrick and Gaye Ackerman in Montana; grandchildren: Sydney, Abigail and Sullivan Nite, Bethany Bolton and Justin Bolton, all of Duncan; Aaron Bugher, Madison Davis, and Leesa Bugher, all of Norman.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross and Chisholm Trail Hospice.

Melva Sue Blake
Melva Sue Blake, of Comanche, peacefully passed away Sunday afternoon, June 16, 2013, at Fort Worth, Texas. She was 71 years old.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Dow Pannell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from a.m. to service time Thursday. -

Troy Glenn Wilson passed away June 16, 2013, in the VA hospital, at the age of 62.
Troy was born May 10, 1951, in Duncan, to Troy E. and Jeanette Rose Fowler Wilson. Troy has lived in Edmond, for the last nine years. He was a Navy Veteran and a hydraulic mechanic working on commercial equipment. Troy loved his family and fishing. -
Homer Gene Brown
Homer Gene Brown was born July 21, 1934, in Jefferson County to Weldon and Claudia Phelps Brown. He passed away on June 15, 2013, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 78.
He was a 1952 graduate of Waurika High School. He and Charlene Snider married May 31, 1952, in Waurika. -
