VELMA — Robert Joe Bench, 37, of Ratliff City, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at Velma.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the Velma Assembly of God with the Rev.Travis Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the New Velma Cemetery under direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home in Duncan, and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the Velma Assembly of God Church.

Robert was born Dec. 15, 1974, at Healdton.

He and Laura Cox were married March 26, 2009, in Duncan. He enjoyed Riding four-wheelers, fishing, hunting, searching for arrowheads and all general outdoor activities. Love teaching his sons new things about life.

Pallbearers will be Steve Cox Jr., Clayton Cox, Kerry Henderson, Perry Loring, Chris Jones, Cody Carter, Troy Downey and Kody Bench.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at the INB bank in Velma under the name of Laura Bench.
