LAWTON — Lodeus Jennings, 91, of Duncan passed away Dec. 3, 2012, in Lawton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Bethel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ron Meador officiating. Internment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Carter- Smart Funeral Home. Military Honors will provided by the Stephens County Honor Guard.

Lodeus was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Duncan to Curry and Linnie Pearl ( Davis) Jennings. He worked for the Ford Mercury Dealership in Duncan and later worked for Halliburton, retiring after 30 years. He was in the U.S. Navy. Lodeus married Roberta Smith Dec. 12, 1941, in Corum. She preceded him in death Jan. 1, 2001.

Survivors include daughters Koenia Kaye O’Connor of Athens, Texas, Elaine Wyatt and husband Ronnie of Athens, Texas, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters, all of Duncan, and a son-in-law Mike O’Conner of Athens, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Wyatt, Caleb Wyatt, Johathan Pereira, Preston Pereira, all of Ft. Worth, Texas, Aaron Coffey, and Cameron Coffey of Athens, Texas. Honorary pallbearer is Bryan Ervine.
