COMANCHE — Debbie Marcella “Marci” Jones, a longtime resident of Comanche, passed away Wednesday evening, March 13, 2013, at Duncan Regional Hospital. She was 44 years old.  

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Ray of Hope Church, with Bro. Dow Pannell officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Marci’s final resting place will be at the feet of her beloved “Memaw” in the Ninnekah Cemetery.

Marci was born Nov. 14, 1968, in Denton, Texas, to Curtis and Linda (Watkins) Dyer.  

She worked for AT&T for many years. Marci enjoyed singing, music and watching movies.

More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her father, Curtis Dyer and wife Thelma of Comanche; her mother Linda Johnson and husband Gene of Krum, Texas; three children: JoDee Dyer of Duncan, Tiffany Jones of Houston and Mark Brock of Seymour, Texas; four brothers: Jack Dyer and wife Deanna of Mustang, Robert Hughes and wife Dawn of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Randy Johnson and wife Trish of Gainesville, Texas, and Jeffrey Johnson of Victoria, Texas; four sisters: Corie Gilbert and husband Rod of Duncan; Angela Kayser of Lawton, Lorie Fuller and husband Kenny of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and Teresa Hughes of Comanche; two grandchildren, Justin Brown and Faith Brown; grandmother Liddie Keller; grandfather Floyd T. Dyer and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

Marci was preceded in death by her grandparents: Billie Jo Dyer, Corine Watkins, Berdie Johnson, Jack Watkins and Lewis Keller.
