HASTINGS —
James Arthur Holmes, 60, of Hastings, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Waurika.
James was born on June 1, 1952, in Scott City, Kan., to Ronald Eugene Holmes and Crystalene Wray Holmes. James worked for Merrick Pet Foods for many years as a pet specialist.
James recently went to work for City National Bank in Lawton.
James is survived by his mother, Crystaline Schwartz and her husband Ted, of Mountain Home, Ark.; daughter Jayelyn and husband Jason Moore of Henderson, Nev.; stepchildren: Jill Scott and Holly Vonderhoe; granddaughter Raegan Moore; two sisters, Patricia Ashe, and Beverly Dehrer and husband Dean; and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Barbara Holmes as well as two brothers.
