FRIONA, Texas — June 6, 1921 — Feb. 5, 2012

Frankie Duvall Selvidge, 90, of Friona, passed away, Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.

Frankie was born Monday, June 6, 1921 in Duncan, to Alex and Bessie (Coker) Duvall. She married George Selvidge on Dec. 16, 1937 in Duncan.

She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband George, in 2003; son Jerry Leon Selvidge, in 1945: and grandson Kelly Jones.

Survivors include one son, Jimmie Selvidge and wife Rosalyn, of Guymon; one daughter, Joyce Loflin and husband Jerry, of Friona; one brother, Odes Duvall, of Duncan; one sister, Marie Burton, of Duncan; and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church in Stinnett, Texas, with Pastor Dennis Richardson officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Duncan Cemetery in Duncan.

Mrs. Selvidge lay in state at Brown Chapel in Stinnett on Monday and Tuesday. She will also lie in state from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday.
