Shirley J. Wall, 78, of Duncan passed away Feb. 28, 2013, at Wilkins Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 at Ray of Hope Church with Rev. Mike McCord and Rev. Dow Pannell officiating. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Shirley was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Cromwell to Carlos E. and Jewell “Thomas” Cope She was one of twelve children and she worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years before retirement. She married Ray Yearby on Dec. 20, 1966, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Ernest Dee Wall on Aug. 30, 1971, and he preceded her in death June of 1982.
Survivors include son Terry Yearby and wife Balinda of Comanche; two step-sons, Kenny Wall and wife Sheila of Waurika and Randy Wall of Comanche; daughter Denise Bollig and husband Gary of Duncan; step-daughter Kathy Miller and husband Irvin of Comanche; brother C.E. Cope and wife Sharon of North Dakota; sister Retha Watson of Athens, Ga.; grandchildren, Casey and Paige Yearby, Melaina Yearby, Shayla Ausmus, and Noah Bollig.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, eight sisters and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
