Barbara Louise ‘Poodle’ Scott

DUNCAN — Barbara Louise “Poodle” Scott, 70, of Duncan passed away Monday, Nov. 12th, 2012, in the Wilkins Nursing Center.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Womack officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery.

Barbara was born Aug. 4, 1942, at Murfresboro, Tenn., the daughter of Charlie and Mary Foster. She graduated from the Murfresboro High School in Murfresboro. She worked until her retirement as a nursing tech at the Murfresboro Regional Hospital.

She loved spending time and was the caregiver for her family. She loved to bake, cook and attended the Bellwood Baptist Church in Murfesboro. She came to Duncan in July 2006 from Murfresboro, to be near her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son.

Survivors include two sons: Randall J. Scott of Duncan, and Robert K. Scott of Murfresboro; a daughter, Jill S. Scott of Duncan; two brothers: Kenneth and Larry Foster, both of Murfresboro; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.
