DUNCAN — Aug. 12, 1932 — Oct. 6, 2012

Carroll Bud Freeman, 80, of Duncan, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, in Duncan.

Family memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Carroll was born Aug. 12, 1932, in Wilmoth, Texas, the son of Sampson Grady and Daisy Lillian Harris Freeman. He made his career in the United States Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam.

He married Deta Jane Clark on Oct. 9, 1987, in Miami. He was a member of Tanglewood Bible Fellowship.

Carroll is survived by his wife, Deta of the home; four daughters: Carol Ann, Paula Kay, Dorothy Lillian and Judy Lynn; a son, Michael David; two step-daughters: Sheri Dawn and Laurie Michelle; three step-sons: Kenneth William, James Clark and John Jeffrey; a sister, Thelma Nearine; 15 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and another one on the way.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Sampson and Daisy; a brother; and two sisters.

He was loved.
