DUNCAN — Betty Jean (Keck) Armstrong, 84 of Comanche, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at Duncan, Regional Hospital

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Hall officiating, interment to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home

Betty was born in Marlow to Phillip M Keck and Virgie Keck. She was the first girl out of ten children. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker, She loved giving to any and all that was in need. She loved Genealogy. She also loved spend and doing for her daughter, grandkids, great grand kids and great-great grandkids.

She also loved doing crafts for the kids from Comanche Elementary that would come and visit the nursing home where she spend the last two years.

Betty married Leslie Armstrong on March 10, 1950. He proceeded her in death Sept. 5, 2003. They had one daughter; Sarah Keck Wilson, born July 19, 1948. Three grandchildren; Dawayne and May Wilson of Lufkin, Texas, LaCinda and Sammy Burns of Comanche, and Anthony and Jasmine Wilson of Duncan. Four great-grandchildren Thomas and Stepanie Wilson of Waurika, Brittany Wilson of Comanche, Alex Castaneda of Lufkin, Texas, Quinton Wilson of Lufkin, Texas and Evan Wilson of Duncan and two great-great-grandchildren; Danica Wilson and Kinsley Wilson. She leaves behind six brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.

    The family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
