BRYAN, Texas — Former Stephens County, Oklahoma, resident, Edith H. Huber Robertson, 91, of Bryan, Texas, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Bryan.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ray of Hope Church, south of Duncan, Okla., with the Rev. Mike McCord and the Rev. Dow Pannell officiating. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Okla., under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home in Duncan.
Edith was born July 25, 1916, the youngest of nine children, to Henry and Louisa Cantrell Huber. She married Charles Robertson on Dec. 15, 1934, in Addington, Okla. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1989.
She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in private care in nursing homes. She was also a homemaker and was talented with arts and crafts.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Lynn Nation and spouse, Jack, of College Station, Texas; two sons: Troy Robertson and spouse, Becky, of Duncan, and Bobby Robertson and spouse, Mona, of Stillwater, Okla.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and eight sisters and brothers.
Bearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons: Larry Robertson, Derek Nation, Aaron Red Elk and Hunter Harris.
