COMANCHE —
Leland Raymond “Lee” Christman, of Comanche, peacefully passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 22, 2012, at his home, at the age of 76.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the Comanche First Baptist Church, with Bro. Bob Waitman officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Visitation will be noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. The family will be receiving friends from 5-6 p.m.
Lee was born Aug. 15, 1936, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to Arthur and Helen (Barker) Christman. He proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy. He later worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, until his retirement there. Lee and Sandra Sue Maness were united in marriage on Sept. 9, 1961, in Maysville. They had recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.
Lee was an instructor for the Hunters Safety Course for many years. He was an avid gun and knife enthusiast. He loved to hunt, and he was a great storyteller.
Survivors include his wife Sue, of the home; two daughters: Kati Allison, Boston, Mass., and Kim Christman, Comanche; a son, Danny Christman and wife Becky, Dickson, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Powell, Clarington, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Lynda Roebuck and husband Raymond, Comanche; and LaDonna Maness, Oklahoma City; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Melva Sue Blake, of Comanche, peacefully passed away Sunday afternoon, June 16, 2013, at Fort Worth, Texas. She was 71 years old.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Dow Pannell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from a.m. to service time Thursday. -

Troy Glenn Wilson passed away June 16, 2013, in the VA hospital, at the age of 62.
Troy was born May 10, 1951, in Duncan, to Troy E. and Jeanette Rose Fowler Wilson. Troy has lived in Edmond, for the last nine years. He was a Navy Veteran and a hydraulic mechanic working on commercial equipment. Troy loved his family and fishing. -
Homer Gene Brown
Homer Gene Brown was born July 21, 1934, in Jefferson County to Weldon and Claudia Phelps Brown. He passed away on June 15, 2013, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 78.
He was a 1952 graduate of Waurika High School. He and Charlene Snider married May 31, 1952, in Waurika. -
