Patsy Charlyn (Castlebury) Hogue

May 4, 1933 — Feb. 7, 2013

DUNCAN — Patsy Charlyn (Castlebury) Hogue, 79, of Duncan, passed away on Thursday, February 7 here in Duncan.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Westside Christian Church with Rev. Terry Schlein officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.

Patsy was born May 4, 1933, in Vernon, Texas to Wilbur W. and Doris (Nobles) Castlebury. She attended school in Marlow and was a member of the Westside Christian Church. She married Johnnie “Max” Hogue on Jan. 16, 1952, in Marlow and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2008.

Patsy was totally devoted to her family; being the “Lifeline” between them all, cooking for everyone and seeing that all birthdays were recognized with a card.  Affectionately known as “Mimma” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, really held her heart.

She is survived by a daughter Becky Crowdis and husband Bill of Duncan; sister Billie Jo Tucker of Duncan; three grandchildren Cindy LaMonte and husband Jon of Woodstock, Ga., Casey Crowdis and wife Jennifer of Moore and Natalie Sloan and husband Chris of London, England; four great-grandchildren Brett LaMonte, Kaolin, Ryan and Zoe Crowdis; brothers-in-law Bill Ritter of Waurika, Roy Lee Ritter and wife Eva Bell of Marlow and Bud Ritter of Duncan; and sister-in-law Louise Herndon and husband Frankie of Marlow.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pasty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Tim Hogue, a granddaughter Monica Ann Crowdis, a brother Ric Castlebury, a sister Betty Castlebury, brothers-in-law Bob Ritter, Bill Koenig, Earl Tucker and Harold Heniger, sisters-in-law Delores Heniger, Evelyn Rotter, Ruby Lois Helms and mother-in-law and father-in-law Mable and Marvin Ritter.

Pallbearers will be Bill Crowdis, Casey Crowdis, Dallas Crowdis, Bob Skiles, Harry Reynolds and Randy Rosine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westside Christian Church or Chisholm Trail Hospice.

    Troy was born May 10, 1951, in Duncan, to Troy E. and Jeanette Rose Fowler Wilson. Troy has lived in Edmond, for the last nine years. He was a Navy Veteran and a hydraulic mechanic working on commercial equipment. Troy loved his family and fishing.

    He was a 1952 graduate of Waurika High School. He and Charlene Snider married May 31, 1952, in Waurika.
