DUNCAN — Jan. 8, 1949 — April 29, 2012

Donna Sue (Cannon) Hook, 63, of Duncan, died April 29 at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, as a result of a massive stroke.

Born Jan. 8, 1949, in Alameda, Calif., to William Nelson and Thelma Evelyn Cannon, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Duncan.

She is survived by third husband, Lee Howard Hook, of Greenville, Calif.; daughter, Shannon Vielguth; granddaughter, Krystal Rose Benshoof, of Meridian; grandsons, Chad Edward Joyce, of Duncan, and Gary Samuel Williams, of Edwards, Miss., one great-granddaughter, Serenity Lynne Brown; mother, Thelma Cannon, of Duncan; sisters, Marian Gonzalez, of Hanford, Calif., Kathryn Wilson, of Duncan, Rebecca Reynolds (Sonny), of Duncan, Doris Freimuth (Henry), of Susanville, Calif., Beverly Green (Robert), of Duncan; brothers, Gary Cannon, of Duncan, Colo., Michael Cannon (Beth), of Manassas, Va., and Timothy Cannon of Duncan; 20 nephews and nieces; 31 great-nephews and nieces; 19 great-great nephews and nieces; friend and caretaker Marci Farmer; numerous other friends and family; and pets Sassy, Mim, Zoe and Cee Cee.

She was predeceased by her father William Cannon in 2000; spouses, Dwayne Earl Vielguth in 1997 and James Ottis Williams in 1999; daughter, Tonya Evelyn (Williams) McCall in 2005; and niece, Evelyn Michelle Cannon in 2011.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 4 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 4210 W. Beech Ave, Duncan at 10 a.m.

    Charles Nathan Turner Sr. was born on June 13, 1979, in Ada, to Harold E. and Tanya G. Garvin Turner. He died on May 13, 2013, in Duncan, at the age of 33. Services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel with Dr. Walter Wilson, officiating.

    The family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
