MARLOW —  Carolyn Elnora Chapman, 73, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Duncan.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Marlow First Assembly of God, with the Rev. Elwyn Rogers and Kevin Alaniz officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born Thursday, Sept. 28, 1939, in Luther, to Ted and Ruby (Simpson) Harrold. Carolyn attended school in Luther. She moved to Marlow in 1999, after living in Arkansas for a time.

On Aug. 27, 1960, Carolyn married Pat Metz in Fairview. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2004. Carolyn later married W.L. Chapman on Dec. 18, 2004, in Marlow. She worked as a nurses aide at Duncan Regional Hospital for 10 years.

Carolyn enjoyed cooking and embroidery. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Carolyn always had a smile for people, and loved to entertain for her family and friends. She served as a foster grandparent at school and was a member of the Red Hats. Carolyn was a member of Marlow First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, W. L. Chapman of the home; son, Pat Ivan Metz, Jr. of Duncan; two daughters: Lisa Roberts and husband Tommy of Duncan, Padgett Elliott and husband Robert of Duncan; six grandchildren: Jason Roberts, Tim Roberts, Lakota Elliott, Zachary Elliott, Abby Elliott and Trey Metz; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three step-sons: Larry Chapman and wife Sheryl of Duncan, Kevin Chapman and wife Sharon of Marlow, Dustin Chapman of Moore; two step-daughters: Sandy Mosher and husband Fredrick of Lacombe, La., Deanne Gates and husband Chester of Marlow; two brothers, three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was also preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Clint Chapman, Ron Chapman, Derick Chapman, Donnie Berry, Brandon Berry and Zachary Elliott.
