DUNCAN —
Anna Charlotte McCormick, 78 of Duncan, left this earth to join her Savior on Oct. 18, 2012 after battling Alzheimer’s for many years.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating, interment will be at the Duncan Cemetery, arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be held at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home on Sunday, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Anna was born in Powell, Tennessee on Feb. 18, 1934 to Ross and Lou Venia Luttrell, being the second Youngest of ten children, before retirement Anna worked as the bookkeeper and salesperson for McCormick’s Flooring. Anna was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West, before her illness, Anna loved cooking, tending to her home, camping at the lake with friends and spending time with her family.
She leaves behind, her dear husband of 62 years, Bill of the home, she is also survived by her three sons; Ron and wife, Lynn of Magnolia, Texas, David and wife Carol, of Allen, Texas, Paul and wife, Marilyn of Duncan, Anna is also survived by six grandchildren; Alycia Clark and husband, Kevin of Houston, Texas, Michael McCormick and wife, Lynsey, of Brownwood, Texas, Kelsey Turner and husband, Jeremy of Dallas, Texas,
and Andrea, Jeremy and Sara McCormick of Duncan, Oklahoma. Eleanor, Penelope and Lincoln Clark of Houston, Texas and Miller McCormick of Brownwood, Texas are the great grandchildren.
Her surviving sibling are Clarence Luttrell and wife, Pauline of Dallas, Texas, Ross Luttrell Jr. and wife, Irene of Duncan, Oklahoma, R.C. Luttrell of Dallas, Texas, Helen James and husband, Jesse of Dallas, Texas, Thomas Luttrell and wife, Gayle of Mountain Park, Oklahoma and Mary Bowman of Hobart, Oklahoma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and wonder friends.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff for the attention and quality care they gave Anna while she resided at Wilkins Nursing Home.
