DUNCAN — Gabriel Morales 58, of Duncan, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at his home in Duncan.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the First Hispanic Baptist Church with Brother Carlos Aguilar officiating. Interment will be at the Henderson Harris Cemetery in Duncan and arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Visitation for Gabriel will be at the First Hispanic Baptist Church until service time on Tuesday at 1 p.m.   

Gabriel was born Dec. 17, 1954, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Gabriel Sr. and Eloisa (Puertas) Morales.

He worked for Stockman’s Supply from 1978 to 1990 and worked in the oilfields from 1990 until he retired.

He was a member of the First Hispanic Baptist Church and married Yolanda, Jan. 3, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Yolanda of the home, a son; Ricardo Morales and his wife Angie of Duncan; daughters, Norma Garcia and husband Jose, Cindy Morales, and Sylvia Rivera and husband Leo, all of Duncan; grandchildren Nino, Alexis, Mario, Nick, Brici, Diego, Alondra and Elenor; brothers Nicolas Morales of New Mexico and Adan Morales of Duncan; sisters Catalina Carrasco of Midland, Texas, and Berta Herrandez of Chihuahua, Mexico.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Eloisa Morales Sr., two sisters, Guadalupe Herrera and Ester Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Leo Rivera, Jose L. Garcia, Nino Morales, Alexis Morales, Ricardo Morales and Isidro Gallardo. Honorary pallbearers will be Adan Morales, Nicolas Morales, Cesar Herrera, Tony Morales, Mario Soto, Dominic Tapia and Diego Morales.
