Freeda Marie (Pendley) Blaylock, 88, of Duncan passed away Jan. 15, 2013, while residing in Meridian Nursing Home at Comanche.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland of New Hope Baptist Church officiating.

Visitation will begin Wednesday and family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. There will be no graveside service.

Freeda was born in Holdenville on Christmas day 1924 to Thomas Larkin and Mellie Izora (Adair) Pendley and attended Moss Public Schools.

She married the love of her life, Harmon L. Blaylock, May 17, 1942, in Calvin. She often spoke of how they met and that the minute she laid eyes on him, she said, “I’m going to marry that man.” She was married for more than 55 years until his death March 6, 1997.

Freeda worked as care-giver for First Methodist Church and First Baptist Church for many years. She loved taking care of little children. She also enjoyed homemaking and reading the Bible. She was actively involved in her church.

Freeda was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and five sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita Hack and husband Alvin, and son, Steve Blaylock and wife Barbara, all of Duncan; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, who will miss her very much.

Wendell Loyd “Bill” Campiche, 61, a lifelong resident of Comanche passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 15, 2013, at Duncan Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Friday. The family will be receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday.

Melva Sue Blake, of Comanche, peacefully passed away Sunday afternoon, June 16, 2013, at Fort Worth, Texas. She was 71 years old.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Dow Pannell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from a.m. to service time Thursday.

Troy was born May 10, 1951, in Duncan, to Troy E. and Jeanette Rose Fowler Wilson. Troy has lived in Edmond, for the last nine years. He was a Navy Veteran and a hydraulic mechanic working on commercial equipment. Troy loved his family and fishing.

He was a 1952 graduate of Waurika High School. He and Charlene Snider married May 31, 1952, in Waurika.
