<font color=red>P.M. Update</font>Rogers arraigned on two counts of embezzlement

A Duncan man charged will two counts of embezzlement was arraigned Thursday on both counts.

Jerry Lynn Rogers, 48, of Duncan, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Stephens County Sheriff’s Department.

According to the affidavit filed by the sheriff’s office, Rogers owns JT Car Cares in Marlow. According to the affidavit, the Sheriff’s Department had received complaints from Marlow residents who said Rogers sold them warranties. But they allegedly discovered later that Complete Auto Repair Services out of Murrysville, Pa., the company through which the warranties would be made, allegedly hadn’t received any record of the warranties, according to the affidavit.
