DUNCAN — On Tuesday, Stephens County Sheriff deputies and the District Attorney Drug Task Force apprehended and arrested a man who claimed to be Frank Louis Patillo of Norman. The man allegedly had three pounds of marijuana, about $4,000 cash and a loaded stolen Beretta .32 caliber pistol.
“He was armed,” said Sheriff Wayne McKinney.
Today, McKinney said the identification the man had on him was fake and that Patillo is actually Frank Louis Williams, 24, who is wanted on a warrant out of Russellville, Ark.
“We ran his fingerprints through the FBI when we got him in here last night,” McKinney said. Williams is wanted for probation violation on a similar drug trafficking charge in Arkansas.
A hold has been placed on Williams to face the trafficking charges he was arrested for Tuesday in Stephens County, but Arkansas does plan to extradite, McKinney said.
“He’s on hold and not going anywhere right now,” McKinney said.
