Much of the discussion in the regular Monday morning meeting of the Board of Stephens County Commissioners revolved around bridge building. Not everything discussed was business though, two members of the Board were celebrating birthdays this week, Dee Bowen and Todd Churchman; Bowen Monday and Churchman Tuesday.
The Board approved three resolutions and claims for submission to ODOT for reimbursements for a bridge projects in District 1 and District 2. District 2, Churchman’s district, had two claims up for reimbursement.
The Board also approved a plan for a purposed county bridge and approach at Wildhorse Creek. Churchman said the process for the project began a few years ago.
In Other Action:
n The Board approved a resolution to maintain Bowen as a trustee to the ASCOG Board of Trustees beginning June 18.
n The Board accepted all the bids for hi-performance HM/CL ashpaltic concrete patching materials for all the districts.
n The Board accepted all the bids for hot mix-hot laid asphalt for all districts.
