Marlow woman admitted to hospital after accident
Edna Wilson, 86, of Marlow, was admitted to Comanche County Memorial Hospital Thursday evening after she made an improper left turn in front of another vehicle and the vehicles collided.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety accident report, Wilson was admitted to the hospital with head, internal and external trunk injuries, and also arm and leg injuries.
The accident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Oklahoma Highway 65 and Cline Road in Comanche County, where Wilson was southbound, the report noted. The second vehicle was driven by Dorothea Mozingo, 66, of Lawton. She was transported by Elgin EMS to Southwest Medical Center, where she was treated for leg injuries and released, according to the report filed by Trooper Larry King of Troop G in Lawton. He was assisted by Comanche County Sheriff’s Department, Sterling Police Department, Sterling First Responders and fire department.
Wilson and Mozingo were both wearing their seat belts.
