DUNCAN — Duncan police responded to a call of shots fired at 13th and Willow around 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Duncan Police Capt. Bo Walker said a physical fight had taken place earlier in the evening between some individuals. One individual involved in the altercation, Bucky Ray Baker, 27, returned with a firearm and fired three shots into the ground.
No one was injured by the gunfire, Walker said.
Baker was taken into custody following the call and was transported to Duncan Regional Hospital where he was treated, Walker said.
“They took him to the hospital to be treated for injuries from the fight,” he said.
Walker said Ray is being charged with discharging a weapon and is being held in county jail.
At this time, police are not certain if Ray is living in Duncan, he said.
