DUNCAN — Strong winds took down several trees throughout Duncan Wednesday night, (Dec. 19) including this tree in the 800 block of N. Third.
The winds were the result of a storm system that brought snow to the Rockies and Midwest and tornadoes to Arkansas. Oklahoma was battered by the wind.
They also caused numerous traffic hazards throughout Stephens County and at one point Duncan Fire Department firefighters responded to a call of downed power lines and possible fire on the Bypass, west of Duncan.
