Duncan Police responded to a call about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Duncan Middle School when a student attempted to choke a special education teacher.
According to the report by Duncan Police Department Officer Breeze, the student became upset and tore another student’s paper. When the teacher asked him if he would like it if the other student tore his paper, the student jumped off the desk put one hand on the teacher’s throat and pushed her to the wall.
The teacher did not need medical attention and decided not to prosecute.
Duncan Public Schools declined to comment on the incident.
