DUNCAN — A collision occurred at the Lawton-Duncan Y on Friday, with two individuals being admitted to Duncan Regional Hospital (DRH) with injuries.
According to a report filed by Lt. Richard Garret of the Marlow Police Department, a blue 1999 Ford Ranger, being driven south on U.S. Highway 81 by Everet Phillips, 79, of Duncan collided with a 2006 Lincoln that was edging its way out onto the highway.
Lt. Garret said the Ranger struck the Lincoln’s side.
The Lincoln was being driven by Billy Tucker, 78, with his wife, Barbara, as passenger. Both husband and wife were admitted to DRH.
Barbara was released, while Billy was later transferred to OU Trauma Center in Oklahoma City. As of Monday afternoon, Billy is still in critical condition.
As of Monday, no citations have been issued.
