Fitzgerald — Courtney

BROKEN ARROW —  

Lauren Frances Fitzgerald and Andrew Michael Courtney, both of Broken Arrow, exchanged wedding vows Nov. 3, 2012, at Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa. Father Joe Townsend officiated.

Bride’s parents are Rocky and Ginger Fitzgerald of Waurika. Her grandparents are the late Bill and Leah Rich, the late Hubert and Frances Fitzgerald, and Bobbie Fitzgerald, all of Waurika.

Groom’s parents are David and Debbie Courtney of Chickasha. His grandparents are Dorothy Brandt and the late Charles Brandt of Chickasha and Milton and Anna Courtney of Konowa.

Lectors were Brother Dominic Ramirez and Angela Martindale.

Music was provided by cantor and organist Ernest Neal.

Lauren was escorted by her father, Rocky Fitzgerald.

She wore a designer gown by Maggie Sottero, which was embellished lace on tulle over romance satin, hand worked and bead accented with Swarowski crystals. The dress was accented with beaded caplet sleeves and a crystal and pearl waist band. The cathedral length veil was trimmed in hand sewn lace and adorned with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

Maid of honor was Ivy Fitzgerald of Waurika. Matron of honor was Brooke Fitzgerald Brandon of Norman.

Bridesmaids were Micah Smith of Ada, Leah Brandon of Norman, and Jordan Brandon of Norman.

Bridal attendants work floor length gowns of charcoal crepe and each carried a bouquet of white roses.

Flower girl was Berkley Killian of Ringing.

Ring bearers were Will Townsend of Ryan and Jetty Brandon of Norman.

Best man was Charlie Courtney of Oklahoma City.

Groomsmen were Robert Morgan of Oklahoma City, Colt Gunter of Tulsa and Aaron Johnson of Ryan.

Reception was held at Stokley’s Event Center.

Rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents at Ti Amos in Tulsa.

Wedding trip destination was Caicos Islands, Bahamas.

Residence after the wedding is Broken Arrow.

Wedding showers were held in October at the home of Dorothy Brandt in Chickasha and at the Church of Christ in Waurika.
