Applause for Duncan Public School staff

DUNCAN —

After moving away from Duncan for a while and returning to our Duncan home, it has been with a great deal of pleasure that I see and read almost daily all the wonderful things going on in the Duncan Public School System in The Banner.

Our school system is something for the entire city to be proud of and I am so excited to see new plans for even more improvements unfold from day to day in all our schools, and especially the high school.

I appreciate our caring high school administration and the way they deal with their patrons in so many different areas, hearing not only with their ears, but their hearts as well. I am convinced our students are being led by only the best and I am thankful for their gifts of teaching and for leading our students in such a remarkable manner with great understanding.

Duncan Public Schools deserve a round of applause for their superior work, exciting programs and for the timeless help they give the Duncan students and our community as a whole as we all look toward the future! Thank you, DPS. You are appreciated.

It's summer time and gas prices seem to fluctuate often these days. What are your plans, do you:

Plan to stay close to home this summer, saving your money to pay utility bills?
Find an Oklahoma destination and get away for a day or two?
Drive across country no matter the cost of fuel
Fly to another country or state?
