Ringling rolled to an undefeated record in District A-4 and, by virtue of its record, took in the lion’s share of accolades on the All-District team. But there were plenty of leftovers for area athletes.

Brack Attack
For 32 years, Tom Brack has served as an ambassador of wrestling for Stephens County. As a coach at Marlow, Comanche and Duncan, Brack’s teams have won state twice, finished runner-up 11 times and he has coached 26 state champions and four All-Americans.

Ladies swim to first, Bowles qualifies
The Duncan Lady Demon swim team continued its early run of success and the Demons qualified another swimmer for state Tuesday afternoon in a meet against Lawton’s finest.

Outlaws drop dual to Lawton High, 45-26
The Marlow wrestling team lost 45-26 to Lawton High Tuesday night, but won six of its 11 matches on the evening.
- Comanche teams win big, V-A loses both games It was a good night for most area teams Tuesday night, as the the official start to the high school basketball season is here. Comanche rolled Tuesday night as the boys and girls walked over Frederick, 73-42 and 61-25, respectively.

MARLOW — It was a shaky start for the Marlow Outlaws Tuesday night, scoring just 13 points in the first half en route to a 62-53 season opening loss to the Longhorns of Lone Grove.
