The Duncan freshmen girls couldn’t overcome a slow start and dropped a 43-34 decision to Ardmore Monday night. The Lady Demons went into the half on the short end of a 22-10 score and couldn’t make up the deficit as they dropped to 1-2 on the season.
Britton Scott scored nine points and had five rebounds to lead the Lady Demons. D’Shala Culberson added six points and six rebounds.
Brookly Scott had five points, with Dani Jo St. Clair and Jamesia Milton each scoring four. Ashley Gonzales had three points, and DeShaute Hollis had two. Anna Stark rounded out the scoring with one point.
Kimiko Fritz led Ardmore with 16 points, nine from beyond the arc.
