DUNCAN —
Caylee Powers of Comanche and Blake Boyd of Edmond will exchange wedding vows on June 11, 2011, at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City under the offication of John Stitt, uncle of the prospective groom.
The parents of the bride-elect are Andy and Mitzi Powers of Comanche. Grandparents are Tommy and Bonnie Taylor, Harris and Patsy Powers, great-grandmother Ruby Murray, all of Comanche.
The prospective groom is the son of Russell and Cindy Boyd of Edmond. Grandparents are Jim and Sharlotte Boyd, Ralph and Bobette Williams, both of Skiatook and great-grandmother Ruth Boyd of Oologah.
The bride-elect graduated from Comanche High School in 2008 and plans to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond in 2012 with a bachelor of science in nursing degree, for registered nurse. She is a member of the Student Nurses Honor Association.
The prospective groom graduated from Deer Creek High School in 2004 and from the Oklahoma State University in 2008 with a degree in business management. He is a general manager for Fastenal.
