HEMPHILL, Texax — Mattox — Johnson
Francis and Rebecca AuClaire of Hemphill, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Joy Mattox, to Brandon Ray Johnson, the son of Jeffery and Carl Johnson of Duncan.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Hemphill High School and has attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated from Angelina College with her L.V.N.. She is pursuing her R.N. from Excelsior University and is currently employed as a Pharmacy L.V.N. and a staff nurse at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas.
She is the granddaughter of Esther AuClaire of Pottersville, New York and the late Francis AuClaire, and the late Raymond and Hazel Mattox of Hemphill, Texas.
The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Duncan High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. He is employed as a 911 dispatcher for the Stephens County Public Safety Communications Authority. He is also the director for the Stephens County Muscular Dystrophy Association.
He is the grandson of Lory Clift of Oklahoma City and the late Charleene Clift, and Patricia Johnson of Duncan and the late Jerry (J.R.) Johnson.
Allison and Brandon will be married Dec. 31, 2009, aboard the Carnival Ship Ecstasy, while on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. The couple will reside in Duncan.
