DUNCAN —
Alexandra (Allie) Marie Blauch of Columbia, Mo. and Michael Douglas Egnew of Plainview, Texas will exchange wedding vows Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia, Mo. with Rev. Donald J. Wolfe of Shawnee officiating.
Bride-elect is the daughter of Matthew and Donna Blauch of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Duncan. Her grandparents are Gloria Roys of Columbia, Mo., Donald Roys of Mt. Dora, Fla. and the late John Clair and Alberta Blauch of Palmyra, Penn.
Prospective groom is the son of Richard and Ersa Egnew of Plainview, Texas. His grandparents are Betty and the late James Williams of Lubbock, Texas, Nadine and the late Phillip Egnew of Springfield, Oregon.
Allie is a 2008 graduate of Duncan High School and a candidate for December 2012 graduation from the University of Missouri with a degree in conference and event planning management. She was involved in the Lucky Circle Club and Reflections Show Choir and was class president and editor of the yearbook. In college, she was a member of the 2008-09 University of Missouri Chancellor’s Leadership Class and director of finance for the Meeting Planners Association.
Michael is a 2008 graduate of Plainview High School and a December 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in hospitality management. He participated in high school basketball, football and track and was a state champion in the long jump. He also played for the University of Missouri football team where he was an All-American Tight End in 2011 and served as team captain during the 2011-12 season. He is a professional football player for the Miami Dolphins.
